Drain Maintenance Grease Dosing Systems

CWS recommend robust and trusted biological-dosing systems that continuously protect your kitchen drain lines from the build up of fats, oils and grease. A measured and timed dose of premium multi-strain biological fluid is automatically introduced into the wastewater pipe close to your pot wash sinks and dishwashers.

Grease Dosing Systems come in many forms with most consisting of a simple peristaltic dosing pump together with bottle or cartridge of biological grease digestion fluid. Simple low cost version are not contained in a wall mounted casing or housing, however, delivery exactly the same outcome. The pump and or pump unit are normally wall mounted close to the source of wastewater discharge.

Regular dosing creates a living grease digestion culture within your drain lines, continuously providing protection from the build up of the fats, oils and grease, associated odour and potential pest infestation.

Maintenance

All dosing units are automatic. They require no maintenance from kitchen staff except to replace the biological solution bottle when necessary. Professional servicing of the unit to check function and programming is recommended annually.

Grease Biological Dosing Fluid

We recommend and supply a premium liquid formulation containing non-pathogenic, naturally occurring enzyme and bacteria in a buffer solution. These products are intended for automatic dosing into drain run, grease trap and pumping station. The fluid solution can be introduced manually, however, many site find the CWS powder formulation more efficient for manual handling purposes.

CWS supply biological fluid in 25 litres containers (approx 6 months supply) and multiples of 5 litre bottles, for ease of handling and powder formulation in 7.5kg container.
